Lovely mix of colors in these pretties. I really like how the wheels (big buttons?) stand out in the design. A beauty in progress...

I really like the pinwheel centres. They catch the eye in a very busy quilt and pop out. You have such an amazing way of playing with colour and what could be chaos, but is brilliant instead. You always surprise and inspire.

OMG I just LOVE it, I want to come play in your fabric scraps! very fun quilt.
Are you making the scrappy triangles and then choosing the color wheels fabrics to go with them?
even though the quilt is very scrappy its very balanced to my eye.
Thanks for sharing.

I like the controlled scrappiness of the spiderwebs and the totally crazy strings in the stars between. could you post a picture of this over at our group strings blog (http://stringthingalong.blogspot.com) reply by email and I can set you up there.

Hi, LeeAnn. I agree with all of the above! Seems that the royal blue makes it dance!

It is absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see it finished. How large are you planning to make it?

It is not easy at all to make such a scrap quilt. Here I see how controled all your choices are. This will be a fabulous piece of art!

I was just listening to your Oct 17 interview with Pat Sloan, well because I just finally figured out how to play them. Nicely done :0) I enjoyed it.

Happy sewing

My dear - however did you keep the colors/fabrics consistent then moving from block to block. I would be very interested in knowing the organizational thing - I am aware of how it goes together the "normal" way but ...

Or did you make 8 "circles" at a time and THEN put it together. I'll have to print this out and STUDY it - you've given me some homework to stretch my brain!
